April Is International Guitar Month- Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick

It’s “INTERNATIONAL GUITAR MONTH”

And I’m highlighting some of my favorite guitar players and some of my favorite interview clips.

First up- The KING of cool- Rick Nielsen Of Cheap Trick. Cheap Trick is one of my favorite bands in rock. Combining power pop rock with heavy flavor – the bands catalog is one of rock musics GRANDEST.

And then there is Rick. His look, style and stage presence is like no one else. Hailing from a musical family (Opera singers and music store owners) from Rockford Illinois, Rick is known for his massive custom Hamer guitar collection including his legendary 5 neck. so freakin’ cool.

Rick is a great guy too. Just a delight to speak with. I had to highlight some of a recent chat I had with him and have interviewed him many times. I just saw Cheap Trick on their “All Washed Up” Tour and they were BETTER than ever.
