The Voice Behind Rock’s Real Stories
Decades of radio, countless artists, one mission—keep rock’s spirit alive.
About Terrie Carr
Terrie is a self-described “Big Mouth,” who has spent her entire life loving music and more than half her life talking about it on the radio. Ever since Terrie was a baby in her crib and heard The Rolling Stones, she was a pre-ordained rebel. A self-proclaimed rebel because of the music, she ventured into the radio world and has been behind the mic for three decades at legendary East Coast Radio Stations, with three powerhouse rock stations — WDHA, WHTG, and Q104.3 — on her resume.
Terrie has also been a longtime Rock Program Director (not the most common job for girls, or so she was told!) and has broken new artists on the air that she believes in. She has a strong connection with her listeners and her community.
Terrie’s interviews are an important piece of the connection between artists and fans, and she has notably interviewed some of music’s biggest mega stars like Slash, Heart, Kiss, Rob Halford, members of Rush, and more. She loves bringing new talent to the masses, with Mammoth, The Warning, and Dorothy being some of her favorite new rockers.
Terrie (or TC as her friends Call her) has hosted nationally syndicated radio specials and shows, moderated artist events with Meatloaf, Motley Crue, Heart, Pat Benatar, and more, and has conducted close to 1,000 interviews during her wildly successful career.
She is also a fighter for animal rescue and, during her radio career, has helped hundreds of animals find forever homes.
“My rock community is the life blood of what I do. Connection is key, and authenticity drives my crazy bus.”
“I’m excited to expand beyond my radio career, keep the interviews flowing with my Carr Stereo Podcast, and stay entrenched in my community with my charity work — especially surrounding animal rescue with my new feature, TC’s Rock Tails.”
“This site is dedicated to rock fans — fans I have met through my rock journey and new friends who want to join the party! Please feel free to hit me up with new bands, favorite tunes, and Rock Tails!”
Rock On!
