When the Nor’easter postponed a September AC/DC show at MetLife stadium, we were pissed!

Until the weather gods gave us an 85 degree October day and the Foo Fighter’s were added to the bill!

Now, let me start by saying, I have seen AC/DC countless times. One of my favorite bands of all time. The opportunity to experience their “Ultimate Bar Band In A Stadium” vibe was one I was NOT going to miss. No Way.

Foo’s went on right at 7p, and the stadium was packed….banging through all of their hits and paying homage to the masters between practically every song. Dave joined the band on Highway To Hell too.

Highlights?

Angus’s little legs never stop, at 71 this living legend is my guitar hero. Still the sweet school boy we need to bubble wrap him! Brian had the best time rolling through the bands legendary catalog and is still a powerhouse. Rock and Roll is a feeling, it’s not about the notes. Never has been. there is no better feeling than being at an AC/DC show. Everyone was wearing the colors (me included) and the genius marketer who decided that light up horns were a marketing tool is brilliant! The new “lighter” the entire venue was lit red! Is it their last performance? Well, Brian said, “Goodnight, I hope we’ll see you again” ….

I hope so……
