Mammoth Rocks New Jersey – With Myles Kennedy and Return To Dust (Photo Gallery)
Mammoth Played Their Biggest Headline Show To Date In NJ
It was an amazing time at the sold out Mammoth show at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair New Jersey as Wolf, Garrett, Jon, Frank and Ronnie absolutely slayed the packed house which included all ages, wearing Mammoth merch and feeling the energy and vibe of a Friday night rock show that was one of the best I have seen this year. Wolf is a frontman now. Comfortably working the crown with a wireless mic and controlling the energy of the set. The show was perfectly sequenced with songs from all three Mammoth releases. And the band? Wowza. One of the most impressive in live music.
Don’t Forget Myles Kennedy and Return To Dust
Myles, drummer Zia Uddin and Tim Tournier defied logic (people kept asking “there are only three guys up there”?) as a power trio plowing through eight tunes from Myles solo catalog.
Myles incredible guitar playing is highlighted with his solo band (as obviously he is not the main player with AB and Slash & The Conspirators) and it’s mind blowing how good he is. Watching him on “In Stride” was an incredible moment.
Return To Dust is such a cool band with their nineties tinged , fresh approach to defining themselves as one of the great bands to emerge in 2025. Young, tight and connected , they had the sold out crowd knowing the words to their six song set including “Bored” and “Belly Up” and left them wanting more, and they actually gave them more hanging at their merch booth, meeting fans throughout the night and solidifying their place as the new faces of rock. Really inspiring.
